NEOVET – A Cross-Sector Collaborative Start-up

Thanks to Chad, a creative and original organization is readying to impact northeast Ohio in a powerful way. NEOVETS is a cross-sector collaborative that will improve the economies and attraction of the region by matching military families to the resources they need to call our community home. Chad’s coaching and leadership have put this exciting design on the launchpad.

Collaboratives are notoriously tough to manage, yet Chad’s style of organizing and delivering strategy, structure and support have kept it together and productive. He combines his preparation and delivery with humor and a subtle persistence to keep the groups involved engaged, productive and moving forward. Chad’s follow-up, too, is impressive.

Safety Coaching

In my role as Plant Engineer at a large food-producing factory, my partnership with Chad has been invaluable.  I am responsible for all environmental, health, and safety metrics at our location, and our results were taking a nosedive in 2009.  We engaged Chad to help us understand how our safety culture was pulling down our safety results, despite the fact that we had highly-regarded safety systems and standards.  Chad’s objective approach, coupled with his energy and expertise in affecting large-scale cultural transformation, accelerated recovery of our results, and more importantly, set the stage for continued excellence.  He guided us to the understanding that leadership owns the culture, and we must accept that, process it, model the new behaviors, and only then begin to lead the rest of the organization toward the new culture.  Speaking from experience, I would recommend Chad and his team for any organization looking to consistently improve results.  His ability to coach at the executive level is top notch!

Successful people adhere to these Winning principals by having a clear VISION for their life, developing the COMPETENCE to achieve their vision, and exhibiting the PASSION they have in their pursuit of their vision.  It doesn’t matter if your passion is for your job, raising a family, your health, or participating in a sport.

The statement “they are just a BORN Winner” is a falsehood.  Each Winner worked hard and stuck to their VISION in order to develop into a Winner.  Pleasant PERSISTENCE, and at times endurance, maintained and sustained their journey.  Despite setbacks and failures they persist in their journey.  The most published books, the fastest time, the most followers, the most successful projects, are all success indicators we admire in Winners.

The Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett’s of the world worked to become successful in their respective fields.  They are admired as Winners within their industries.  And, they are not the only ones who are doing this today!

Look around at the people you work with.  There are peers on your team, people reporting to you, those in leadership positions, or participating in Board Room meetings who align with these principals.  You know them, you see them, and you can feel their passion for success.  Any of us can achieve success if we adhere to these four principles.

Celebrate with them when you see and hear others following these principles, and celebrate yourself when you align with them.
